Inspiring entrepreneurs and supporting enterprise eduction. The Net315 group includes six further education colleges and a number of other partners, and has received £12.2m from the European Regional Development Fund. The Sheffield College has joined the consortium that aims to kickstart 315 new businesses led by young people in Yorkshire and Humber. The ERDF funding is being used to develop enterprise support facilities and services for students studying a wide range of courses. Five new business support centres at all campuses, known as enterprise gateways, are also being set up to encourage students to build their own businesses while they study.
